Stephen Ibaraki
Chairman of the Board

Stephen Ibaraki joined the Vine Group's Board of Directors in 2007. He was appointed as the Chairman of the Board in July 2010.

Working with technology since 1965, he is a Hall of Fame Inductee and multiple Lifetime Achievement Award recipient. A few of his more than 50 international recognitions, roles, and awards for a lifetime of outstanding contributions are profiled by the Canadian Information Processing Society (CIPS), where he is a founding fellow. (CIPS is the official representative for Canada to the UN-Founded International Federation for Information Processing, the UNESCO consultative body for IT.) Upon receiving his lifetime Advanced Technology Award in 2008, Premier Gordon Campbell thanked him for his "commitment to industry excellence." While chairman and president of CIPS, Prime Minister Harper noted: “The association has promoted high ideals of competence and ethical practices through certification, accreditation programs, and professional development. I would like to commend CIPS members for carrying out their responsibilities with integrity, expertise and professionalism.”“Your efforts have made positive and lasting contributions to Canada’s economic growth and competitiveness.”
