Vine Group Founder Evelyn YK Lee, Congratulatory Keynote Guest of BPW Germany April 11, 2011 - New York, Vancouver, Munich, Berlin As an international luminary, BPW Germany (part of BPW International) invited Ms. Evelyn YK Lee to be their distinguished VIP keynote to address over 230 guests on April 2 at the Hotel Adlon in Berlin. Ms. Lee provided the gala 60th birthday celebration congratulatory keynote. At this annual spring conference for BPW Germany, "Women at the top - the economy brings to success" was the motto of this year's 60th anniversary event. Guests participated from 42 clubs across cities in Germany and Europe – representing nearly 2000 members. BPW Germany President and Berlin entrepreneur Henrike von Platen stated "We are excited to have Ms. Lee to deliver our congratulatory anniversary keynote sharing her deep insights from an internationally accomplished professional." Ms. Lee said, "It was such a honor and delight to speak to professionals assembled from across Germany and Europe at this auspicious historical event spotlighting women." Earlier on April 1, Ms. Lee joined BPW Germany in attending the reception event with the Governing Mayor of Berlin, Klaus Wowereit, in the famous Red City Hall "Rotes Rathaus" where Ms. Lee exchanged spirited conversations with Mr. Wowereit. BPW Germany is one of the largest and oldest industry and inter-professional women's network in Germany, and part of The International Federation of Business and Professional Women (BPW), an influential international network of business and professional women from about 90 countries in 5 continents with Consultative Status at ECOSOC/United Nations. Founded in 1930, BPW International develops the professional, leadership and business potential of women on all levels. Locally, nationally and internationally, it has approximately 30,000 members. In July 2010, Ms. Lee became an Honorary Member of BPW Club Munich, and is only the second person to receive this special privilege since its founding in 1951. On March 30, Ms. Lee participated at the German Investor Conference (DIK – Deutsche Investorenkonferenz) at the Villa Kennedy in Frankfurt. This event is the central meeting for mid-cap private equity in Germany.
