Vine Group Founder and CEO, Evelyn YK Lee, Keynotes Global Enterprising and Professional Business Women’s Exchange and Receives Invitation as Honorary Member, Germany Club Munich of Business and Professional Women

July 29, 2010 - New York and Vancouver

As a respected international luminary, Evelyn YK Lee sets the bar as a truly global citizen in exemplifying the trends as outlined in Thomas Friedman’s, “The World is Flat,” and the ideas of Accenture Chief Scientist Dr. Kishore Swaminathan about a world “when companies are no longer totally self-contained and are porous”.

In March, 2010, Evelyn YK Lee was invited to keynote on the “Challenges and Rewards of a Global Enterprising Woman”, to the global exchange of Enterprising and Professional Women of New York (EPW-NY) and Business and Professional Women International (BPW-International). Both groups were participating in the 54th session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women. BPW International was one of the first non-governmental organizations (NGO) to be granted Consultative Status by the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations and represents 94 countries at this time. Over the years Eleanor Roosevelt, Amelia Earhart, Margaret Mead, and other prominent women in numerous fields have been affiliated with BPW International.

In May, Evelyn received an invite from the unanimous decision of the board of BPW Germany Club Munich to be their Honorary Member. In July, Evelyn officially accepted this invitation.

On behalf of the international Board of Directors, congratulations to Evelyn YK Lee on receiving this special recognition both as keynote speaker and as Honorary Member and for her ongoing influential and meaningful international contributions. Her vision is a guiding light and an inspiration internationally.
