Dr. Harrison Cookenboo Joins the Vine Group Expert Advisory Board

Dr. Harrison Cookenboo, Ph.D., P.Geo. joined the Vine Group’s Expert Advisory Board, as a Technical Expert Advisor, on March 25, 2010. Dr. Cookenboo will be a major contributor in the Vine Group’s efforts to identify and evaluate mineral projects of merit. He is a renowned professional geologist, with more than 25 years experience in studying and evaluating geologic prospects, deposits and processes. Dr. Cookenboo completed his B.Sc. in geology (cum laude) at Duke University in the USA, and then worked in hydrocarbon exploration in the offshore Gulf of Mexico region for 5 years, before completing both M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in geology at the University of British Columbia in Canada. Dr. Cookenboo, with his broad experience in diamonds, precious and base metals, as well as sedimentological processes, including oil and gas deposits, will be a major asset to the Vine Group.

Dr. Cookenboo has authored numerous reports for both academic journals and public companies, including many to the standards of NI 43-101 and is a Qualified Person in exploration and evaluation of diamond, gold and Ni-Cu-PGE deposits. He is currently registered as a professional geologist or geoscientist by the Association of Engineers and Geoscientists in British Columbia (APEGBC), and the Association of Professional Geologists of Ontario (APGO), as well as being a Fellow of the Geological Association of Canada.
